The BOTTARINI 22-1055 is a spin-on separator that look a lot like and oil filter that you will find in some smaller lubricated compressor and it’s a critical component of the lubrification system.
A standard rotary screw air compressor separator assembly function is to filter and retain most of the oil inside the lubrification system, the oil concentration at the outlet of the compressor should be around a maximum of 5 ppm.
