The dryer turns on and off automatically thanks to an infrared sensor, which uses beams to detect the presence of objects within the unit’s sensing zone. The sensitivity of this zone is adjustable. An internally resetting thermal protection feature is included in the dryer for user safety and to keep the unit from overheating. The dryer operates at 220 to 240 volts at a maximum of 5.2 amps.
